We are delighted to announce that OrgVue has been recognised as one of four Cool Vendors globally in a Gartner report on human capital management software. OrgVue was the only UK company included in the report.
What is a cool vendor?
Every year Gartner identifies cool vendors in specific areas of technology. Cool vendors are selected on the basis of having “innovative, unique technology or services that are making a difference”. They are organisations which “are a signal of what is coming in the future” and the cool vendor reports are a “way for end user organisations to future proof their IT strategies to figure out where they might want to invest in the future” (Cantara, 2013).
Key Findings
One of the report’s key findings was that “recasting traditional workforce analytics and planning conversations into the business imperative of operations management and people planning, with an engaging visual metaphor, may breathe new life into stalled or flagging workforce intelligence initiatives.”
Why OrgVue?
The report suggests that many companies struggle to achieve end goals from workforce analytics and workforce planning investments. Gartner recognised that OrgVue helps deliver insightful workforce intelligence with the ability to integrate and cleanse data from multiple systems and analyse and track real time data versus multiple business scenarios.
Who should care?
Gartner writes that OrgVue should be of interest to “HR, HR IT and operations-focused business leaders willing to embrace an operations management-driven solution combining workforce analytics, planning and process management”.
